Preserving Unfading Emotions in Song
Just because love has ended
Doesn't mean the emotions have ended as well.
I believed that time would make it better,
But the emotions that remained by my heart
Didn't easily disappear.
That's why I ended up creating this song.
Titled "Beside the Heart."
The Place of Unattainable Love
This song
talks about the love that continues to beat in the heart
even though it's already over.
It can't be held onto
or turned back,
but the emotions that 'existed' for sure.
Those emotions
linger like pain, not memories,
and resurface suddenly
when taking a deep breath,
walking down the night street.
Male Vocal Version, Same Heart
"Beside the Heart"
has been produced
in a male vocal version as well.
- The male version
focuses on restraint and suppressed emotions
that eventually burst powerfully in the chorus.
The same song
evokes different emotions
with a change in voice.
Packing All Emotions into the Chorus
The most crucial part of this song
is undoubtedly the chorus.
"Beside the heart—"
This one sentence
is designed to naturally linger in your mind
as you listen to the song.
Repetitive structure
Prolonged pronunciation
Lyrics and melody that are simultaneously memorable
Once you hear it,
the chorus that naturally resurfaces in your mind,
that was the biggest goal of this song.

Reason for the Faceless Album Cover
Intentionally,
the album cover does not reveal any faces.
It's not about a specific person's story,
but rather hoping that anyone can relate
to this song with their own story.
The night alley, street lamps, wet road,
and a silhouette standing alone.
That scene
could be someone's past,
or it could be their present.
